The GMAT is offered by appointment, at your convenience, almost every day of the year. You will be required to register online before making an appointment.<\/div>\n

You can\u00a0register online for the GMAT at mba.com<\/a>.<\/a> The cost\u2014or “appointment fee”\u2013to take the exam at a testing center is $275 and $300 for the GMAT\u2122 Online<\/a> in the United States, but the price varies<\/a> from country to country. The Graduate Management Admissions Council (GMAC) takes personal checks, money orders, and most major credit cards.<\/p>\n

If you’re re-taking the GMAT, just follow the same procedures. However, keep in mind that you are not allowed to take the GMAT<\/a> more than once in any 16-day period.<\/p>\n

If you have decided to take the GMAT at a testing center, find a location that\u2019s convenient for you and determine whether that site has available seats before registering. Register and Schedule Your GMAT Appointment<\/h2>

Available time slots change continuously as people register for the test. You will find out what times are available at your chosen testing center when you register. You may be able to schedule an appointment within a few days of your desired test date, but popular dates (especially weekends) fill up quickly. Admissions deadlines for business schools vary.<\/p>\n

Check with the schools and make your test appointment early enough to allow your scores to be reported before the schools\u2019 application deadlines.<\/p>\n

Rescheduling or Canceling GMAT<\/h3>

If you need to reschedule the date, time, or location of your appointment, there is a fee that fluctuates based on your appointment date and location. All GMAT test-takers are limited to 5 attempts in a 12-month period and 8-lifetime attempts, regardless of test format (online or in a testing center). <\/span><\/p>\n
