The ISEE, or \u201cIndependent School Entrance Exam,\u201d assesses an applicant\u2019s skills and compares their scores with those of other applicants in the same grade. It\u2019s used as one method of determining an applicant\u2019s qualifications for admittance into top-performing private schools.

Breakdown of the ISEE<\/h3>

\nThe ISEE has three levels:<\/p>\n

  • Upper Level (for students currently in grades 8\u201311)<\/li>\n
  • Middle Level (for students currently in grades 6 or 7)<\/li>\n
  • Lower Level (for students currently in grades 4 or 5)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
