Over the 65 minutes of testing time, you\u2019ll be reading 5 passages spanning the following genres: US\/World Literature, History\/Social Studies, and Science.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><footer class=\"entry-footer\"><\/footer><\/article><div class='iconlist-timeline'><\/div><\/li>\n<li><div  class='iconlist_icon  avia-font-entypo-fontello'><span class='iconlist-char ' aria-hidden='true' data-av_icon='\ue862' data-av_iconfont='entypo-fontello'><\/span><\/div><article class=\"article-icon-entry \"  itemscope=\"itemscope\" itemtype=\"https:\/\/schema.org\/BlogPosting\" itemprop=\"blogPost\" ><div class='iconlist_content_wrap'><header class=\"entry-content-header\"><h4 class='av_iconlist_title iconlist_title   '  itemprop=\"headline\"  >Read for at least 15 minutes every day<\/h4><\/header><div class='iconlist_content  '  itemprop=\"text\"  ><p>It sounds simple, but getting regular reading practice (outside of normal school reading) will fine tune your comprehension skills before Test Day. Once you find a reputable source of questions to call your own, work through as many passages and questions as you can. It\u2019s especially important to work through full 65-minute Reading sections periodically to understand the pace you need to have to finish the section.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><footer class=\"entry-footer\"><\/footer><\/article><div class='iconlist-timeline'><\/div><\/li>\n<li><div  class='iconlist_icon  avia-font-entypo-fontello'><span class='iconlist-char ' aria-hidden='true' data-av_icon='\ue80b' data-av_iconfont='entypo-fontello'><\/span><\/div><article class=\"article-icon-entry \"  itemscope=\"itemscope\" itemtype=\"https:\/\/schema.org\/BlogPosting\" itemprop=\"blogPost\" ><div class='iconlist_content_wrap'><header class=\"entry-content-header\"><h4 class='av_iconlist_title iconlist_title   '  itemprop=\"headline\"  >Study with friends<\/h4><\/header><div class='iconlist_content  '  itemprop=\"text\"  ><p>Find a friend who\u2019s taking the SAT. This can help you get a glimpse into the ways test-makers come up with wrong answer types.
