Many GRE testing centers across the world have been closed due to concerns surrounding COVID-19. It is now possible to take the GRE General Test at home in select countries. Learn more from ETS.

If your testing center has been closed due to concerns surrounding COVID-19, your GRE has been postponed. ETS will notify you by email if this is the case for your test date. The April 4 GRE Subject Test has been canceled until further notice. Learn more about your GRE testing options from ETS.

Yes! If you wish to reschedule your GRE due to health concerns, ETS will waive your rescheduling fees. Learn more from ETS.

Yes! Starting March 25, 2020, ETS is administering an online GRE to be taken from home. Learn more about eligibility and registration here.

The online GRE will be taken at your home on a PC using a Windows operating system. The test will consist of six sections and several short breaks. You’ll be monitored via videocamera by a human proctor. Learn more.
