How do I register for the DAT?
The computer-based DAT is offered year-round. The DAT® is conducted by the American Dental Association (ADA) and has been in operation on a national basis since 1950. The DAT is administered year-round at test centers operated by Prometric.

What is the DAT Perceptual Ability Test?
The DAT Perceptual Ability test is unlike any other section you will encounter on a standardized test. It tests your ability to perceive two-dimensional and three-dimensional objects.
DAT Study Plan: 30 Days
To do your best on the DAT, research shows that you’re likely to need to study about 15 hours per week for up to 3 months. If your test date is right around the corner and realized you have yet to start studying, don’t worry. Here’s how you can study for the DAT in one month.

The DAT Quantitative Reasoning section tests your skills in various areas of math. You will have 45 minutes to answer 40 multiple choice questions and a basic on-screen calculator.
